What a fantastic Photo Comp we’ve had over the past couple of weeks to choose a person to have a character named after them in the new book!
After some very enthusiastic voting for all our Defenders who posted photos of them in far-flung places, the winner was action man Brett Tappin, who crews helicopters offshore and whose winning photo was taken in a chopper above the Solomon Islands.
Congratulations Brett – we look forward to immortalising you in the new book and unveiling your character in the coming months!
Special nod to Norman Gibbs and Belinda Collins whose photos came a very close second and third.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the competition, which marked the great news of Chris being signed by Momentum Books.
We will run just one more ‘win a character’ competition on the Facebook page in a couple of months, before the first draft of the new book is due for submission – one that absolutely everyone can participate in!
